Protective grating prevents the ingress of rainwater into air intake or exhaust openings of building facades as a component of ventilation systems or within the natural facility ventilation. Protective grating consists of specially shaped, rain-repellent, horizontally arranged slats that are fastened in a holding frame. The slat spacing is chosen such that it provides as good a compromise between protection and loss of pressure as possible. Protective gratings are provided with a bird screen on the back. The standard versions of all protective grating are manufactured with a non-perforated frame. If a perforated frame is required please specify this in your order.
